SEPTEMBER 30, 2023 - WEST VALLY CITY, UT If felt great to be chasing A7X around the stage again. As always, great show! I think this was the first time I seen them with no pyro. The video wall they had was crazy cool. Lindsey got to hang out and watch the show on the rail singing ever word to every song. After words we hung with the band and crew, Lindsey was smiling ear to ear the entire time. We need more nights like this again soon!

AUGUST 18, 2023 - SALT LAKE CITY, UT I was an instant fan of Charles Wesley Godwin the day I heard his song "Needle Fall Down" from his album 'How the Mighty Fall'. So to get the opportunity to shoot his live show at The Depot was beyond cool for me. His live show was a million times better than listening to the record, and I love dropping the needle every night on his his record while sipping on a bourbon to wind down a crazy day on the ranch. I can't wait to chase him around with the Leica again sometime in the future, if it never happens again, I am still hitting up his live show every chance I get. JULY 6, 2023 - WEST VALLY CITY, UT Love Nickelback's live show, and I really love chasing them around the stage with a camera. Tonight's show was extra special since Lindsey was able to go with me, and we were able to hang out with our dear friends Kes, Justin and Takumi who were on the tour. Hell, Lindsey even got to play Chad's guitar before the show. People can say what they want, this band puts on one hell of a party when it rolls through!  MAY 3, 2023 - SALT LAKE CITY, UT Got hit up by Atreyu to shoot their show in SLC at the Complex. Love shooting these guys, their show is always high energy. Best part of the show is when they asked the crowd, "Why the HELL did UTAH ban Porn Hub? We thought you all were freaky!"  JANUARY 14, 2017 - LAS VEGAS, NV While driving out to Los Angeles to work with Billy Bob Thornton on a project I received a call on my way there to see if I could shoot Van Morrison in Vegas. HELL YES I CAN!!! Stopped in Vegas that night and was able to shoot the entire set of this one of a kind icon. Great show!  JULY 16, 2011 - SALT LAKE CITY, UT I was asked to shoot Grace Potter in SLC by the promoter of the show. I'd never heard of her and really didn't feel like shooting that night because I wanted to get to Denver to shoot the Mayhem Festival the next day. I got to the venue and told Kim to keep the truck running because I was only shooting one song then we were headed out on the road to Denver. Grace hit the stage and my jaw hit the floor. From the first note to the last, Grace commanded the stage like nothing I had ever seen before. I am so glad I didn't bail on the show tonight. I can't wait to see this amazing talent live again. I do feel a little bad making Kim wait outside in the truck for the entire show.  |
