DIARY OF A MADMAN - JANUARY 16, 2023

Snow let up a little today. Feeding the babies this morning was a little rough pulling the wheelbarrow through the mud and snow. We found a baby deer who lost her momma and probably hadn't ate for weeks. Tried bottle feeding her, but she was too far gone and didn't make it. You'd think it would get easier accepting that part of it out here, but it don't. The shop was all booked out today. Love seeing it grow more and more each day. Also, it was Martin Luther King day today. Ever since I was a kid I was inspired by his speech. I guess that's why I am such a dreamer. Great human, glad to see him honored every year.
